I am happy to announce that our Support for Scientific Conferences grant (R13) proposal has been awarded $15,000 by the National Institute of Health!!!
The award will allow us to establish a number of travel awards for students, early career women and underrepresented minorities (URM). The travel awards will be selected based on scientific merit of peer-reviewed abstracts.
A big thank to Chuck, Pepe, Martin, David and Clare for all the help with writing the proposal, and to NINDS for supporting us!
